Pinhey Sand Dunes Complex Site 2 and Butterfly Sanctuary

I went for a short walk yesterday at Pinhey Sand Dunes. We didn't see any butterflies, but the view was lovely. Please note, there is restoration throughout the area and some areas are closed off. Although it was a short walk, there were some steep areas and I unwisely decided not to bring my trekking sticks. Additionally, I bought a new backpack so be sure to test your equipment before going out. The one thing I did right was bringing an extra layer of clothing. I am predicting Ontario as a whole will be extremely cold this winter so don't forget to always layer up.
